The new walkie-talkie Baofeng UV-6R is the new improved version of the famous UV-5R. It covers transmission and reception from 136 to 174MHz (VHF) and 400 to 520MHz (UHF) with 5 watts real in VHF and UHF on the amateur radio bands 144 / 430Mhz.

More than just a change of case, the UV-6R is equipped with the new firmware HDBF230, it is also more sensitive than the UV-5R, with a more powerful loudspeaker, a larger antenna (15cm). The menu and functions remain identical to the UV-5R.

Comes complete with: Baofeng UV-6R, desk charger 220V EU plug, earphone-microphone, belt clip, VHF-UHF antenna, BL-6 1800mAh battery and manual in English. Warranty 2 years by Passion Radio.

Improve performance with a larger antenna such as: Diamond Antenna SRJ77CA and Nagoya NA-771.

This material is no longer available in our shop since october 2019 and replaced by the new TYT TH-UV88 walkie-talkie which offers a better reception and CE RED certified.

UV6R Improvements & UV5R comparison

The Baofeng UV-6R offers a better grip, thanks to its size slightly larger than a UV-5R and a little smaller than the UV-82.

The new HDBF230 firmware corrects bugs and offers a higher level of sensitivity for improved reception on weaker signals. The increase of the length of the antenna (15cm) also helps improve reception of radio signals.

The number of keys has been reduced to 16, to limit handling errors. The function keys have been integrated and reorganized. The keys of the UV6R and especially the PTT button are made of soft rubber instead of ABS plastic (UV5R).

The UV-6R is equipped with a 16 ohm loudspeaker (instead of 8 ohm on the UV5R), for a more powerful and clear listening, especially in noisy environment.

The UV-5R charger can be used for the UV-6R, it is necessary to make sure the device is placed at the bottom of the charger so that the contact does it correctly. And the UV-5R charger can also be used for UV6R. However battery of UV5R does not fit to UV6R.

The Baofeng programming USB cable is compatible as well as accessories with kenwood K2 plug. The Baofeng programming software is specific to the UV-6R and can be downloaded below. The free Chirp programming software can also be used.

Fonctionne comme prévu, livré rapidement. Merci pour les infos de programmation (sous Linux avec le logiciel de programmation CHIRP, il faut ajouter l'utilisateur au groupe "dialout")

Reçu rapidement et bien emballé, merci Passion Radio ! L'UV6R est une radio élégante et sportive d'une finition très étonnante pour son prix. Je l'ai acheté pour me familiariser avec le monde des radios programmables sur pc. Bizarrement, le logiciel Baofeng ne sauve pas de données dans la radio, mais par contre CHIRP fonctionne très bien. Étant pur SWL, je n'ai pas testé l'émission car je n'ai pas le droit, sauf en cas d'urgence vitale où là je ne poserai pas de questions.Je recommande !

j'ai acheté 2 UV6R a Ham Expo, ils fonctionnent a merveille, très bonne qualité Audio , fonctions Relais et accès aux canaux mémoires très rapidement.Bonne prise en main .De très bons accessoires sont accessibles comme batteries 3800 et d'un annulateur de batterie sur prise allume cigare afin d une utilisation en voiture, câble et connectiques pour alimenter antenne externe, Tres content!

Acheté à Hamexpo au Mans 2018. Très bon produit, bien fini. Son utilisation durant ces 2 premiers jours révèle une très bonne qualité d'ensemble. Je le recommande. A noter également le professionnalisme et l'accueil du personnel sur le stand.

J'ai eu toute la série des Wouxun , Baofeng UV-3R , UV5R , UV82 Je viens de prendre un UV6R , agréable surprise il y a une touche V/M . La prise en main est très rapide , même pas lu la doc , le menu est très intuitif , la mise en mémoire rapide . Les touches sont rétro éclairées , sa taille est plus petite que le UV5R . La tempo de latence entre l'émission et réception a été réduite , en lâchant le PTT je peux maintenant entendre le K du relais VHF local . C'est un très bon Chinois , aussi pour son qsj . Gilles

livré en 48h sans soucis, après deux jours de test je peut dire que la réception de l'appareil est au top nettement mieux que sont petit frère le uv5r, le son est net et fort grâce a sont haut parleur nettement mieux aussi que le uv-5R! la radio est assez percutante par rapport une fois de plus a sont petit frère, pour se prix la faut pas s'en privé!
