As of 1 January 2018, all aircraft are required to use new channel spacing  8.33 kHz and instead of 25 kHz for air band VHF communication radio (COMM ONLY).

The new Yaesu handhelds FTA-450 VHF are 8.33 kHz & 25 kHz compatible.

The Yaesu SCU-15 audio adapter included, allows to connect a headset with 6.3mm (PJ-055) and 5.23mm (PJ-068).

This equipment is LA3 approved by CAA UK for use on the ground and can be connected to an outdoor AM VHF antenna by a BNC male adapter.

Come with: FTA-450L, Li-Ion Battery Pack (SBR-12LI 7.4V, 1800 mAh), Charger Cradle (SBH-11), AC Charger (SAD-11), Cigarette Lighter DC/DC Converter (SDD-12), Antenna (SRA-13A), Belt Clip (SHB-11), Headset Adapter Cable (SCU-15), Alkaline Battery Tray (SBT-12 6 x AA), USB Cable (T9101606), Operating Manual, Warranty Card.

VHF Aviation 8.33 khz Yaesu FTA-450L

J'ai du abandonner une Yaesu VERTEX Standard VXA-710 25kHz en raison de l'impossibilité de modifier l'espacement en 8.33 kHz, j'ai choisi une Yaesu FTA-450L.
L'interface de gestion a été simplifiée, la qualité de la réception et de l'émission est excellente.
La programmation des fréquences par le port USB est facile.
