Headquartered in Tampa, Florida with an R&D center in Europe, RadarBox's business operations include providing related data to aviation service providers around the world and equipment for users and enthusiasts.

Besides flight tracking, the website also displays arrival and departure information and historical flight data. The data is aggregated from 8 different sources such as ADS-B, FAA SWIM, MLAT and ADS-C.

A large network of volunteer volunteers around the world feeds ADS-B data using ground-based receivers provided by RadarBox. As of January 2020, the company has more than 15,000 feeders that actively feed data from the RadarBox24 site.
