NOTES :

Connector at the bottom section: When measuring with a multimeter on the UHF female (SO239) between the conductor and ground, a short circuit will be measured. The reason for this is the special design of the MAX2000 and is different from most 'ordinary' antennas.

The same measurement result is obtained by checking only the bottom section or all installed sections.

Middle section: When measuring with a multimeter between the top and bottom of the middle section, there will be NO continuity.

The reason for this is the capacitor in the middle section, which is needed to create a 5/8 wave antenna.

Note: In the iMax2000 antenna there is a capacitor in the middle section because it is a 5/8 wave antenna.
