The DV4mini is a USB key that turns a computer into an hotspot for D-Star, DMR+ and BrandMeister, P25, C4FM system fusion & dPMR modes.
Equipped with a 32-bit microcontroller, a 70cm transceiver (420-450Mhz) and a modulator/demodulator for GMSK and 4FSK modes.
The DV4MINI comes (without antenna) with its software for connection with DCS, XRF and REF reflectors for D-Star (Icom) mode, as well as P25, DMR Plus and C4FM (Yeasu) reflectors.
Works on Windows 7, 8, 10 and Linux on desktop, laptop computer, Raspberry Pi, BananaPi or ODROID, minimum requirement is a dual-core processor.
The DV4mini works only in simplex mode and on DMR Plus network (Hytera) and on DMR+ or BrandMeister DMR network.
Passion Radio Shop don't offers DV4mini anymore and will not offer DV4home.
Other equivalent equipment recommended: Pack BlueDV = DVmega + Bluestack Micro Plus.
It is possible to connect several DV4 Mini Dongle on the same computer with a simultaneous use of multiple reflectors, even in mixed modes D-Star and DMR.

The DV4mini requires an antenna. It must not be used without an antenna. You can use the commonly available ‘rubber ducks’ with a SMA connector like the ones used with walkies. The DV4mini must not be connected to a high Yagi or similar antenna.
If you use a physically adjustable antenna, be careful that when you adjust the position of the antenna you hold onto the base and not the housing. Otherwise you may damage the SMA connector.
