The KrakenSDR is a five-channel synchronised SDR receiver designed for radio direction finding and triangulation, analysis and steering of radio frequency signals.

Based on the RTL2832U chip and the R820T2 tuner, it can receive signals in a wide range of VHF and UHF frequencies from 100 to 1000 MHz.

The Kraken SDR allows precise synchronisation between its five SDR receivers for advanced applications such as radio direction finding, phase analysis and radio spectrum monitoring.

The Kraken SDR can be used for a variety of direction-finding and signal analysis applications:

Open Source development

KrakenSDR is based on an open-source software suite, including Python scripts and GNU Radio compatible tools. It supports Linux and Windows systems, and benefits from an active community developing additional features.
