The new Raspberry Pi 5 is the latest development in the RPi series. Compared with its predecessor, it features a faster Broadcom BCM2712 processor running at 2.4 GHz, with 4GB or 8GB of SDRAM memory, combined with an ARM Cortex-A76 and a VideoCore VII GPU that supports OpenGL ES 3.1, Vulkan 1.2, as well as improved heat dissipation and dual 4K HDMI output.

Its power management now incorporates a real-time clock and a charging circuit for a button cell, ensuring continuous power supply to the clock in the absence of a main power supply.

The Raspberry Pi 5 is a versatile and powerful single-board computer, suitable for a wide range of applications such as R&D projects, development of educational and innovative tools, multimedia servers and many other applications in the field of IoT, RF and amateur radio.
