Moonraker GPA-80F basic HF fiberglass antenna for fixed use in the amateur radio bands from 3.5 to 57 MHz (80 Meters to 6 Meters) for TX transmission (with the use of an external tuner) and for reception in RX frequencies from 2 Mhz to 90 MHz.

The antenna is approximately 5.5 meters high and can handle a maximum power of 400 watts.

The connector at the base of the antenna is UHF-Female (SO-239), supplied with a bracket for mounting on 25 to 42mm mast.

Available in aluminum version: GPA-80HF

Depending on the installation and the ground plan, the antenna can be used directly on the 40m to 10m bands, on the 60m and 80m bands an external tuner is required in all cases.

The addition of radians in the form of electric wires, at the base of the whip, is recommended to improve the performance of the antenna, in particular on the low HF bands.

Assembly advice: On the version with aluminum whip, insert each 10 cm aluminum tube into the previous tube, screw without forcing the clamps, put the cap at the top of the antenna on the last tube. Check the tightness of the screws at the base of the whip.

On the fiberglass version the tubes are screwed directly into each other. Check the tightness of the screws at the base of the whip, re-screw if necessary without forcing.

fonctionne pas trop mal, apres 1 an d'utilisation. je conseille plutot la CP6s de chez Diamond beaucoup plus performante toutes bandes confondues. mais la GPA peut dépanner
