With the special adapter unit it works from 40m to 6m with an internal tuner for most modern radios and 80m & 60m with an external tuner. It supports 400W CW or SSB PEP.
Also suitable for use on a marine HF installation - tunes to the marine HF and MF (shortwave) bands and is IP65 rated.

If you want a hidden antenna, attach it to the downpipe (plastic) of your gutter, or to a tree, you can even hang it on the clothesline!
This antenna can be mounted horizontally as a short wire or fixed in the attic.
Want to take it with you? Attach it to a fibreglass fishing rod and lean it against your tent or camping table or hang one end from a tree. The possibilities are numerous.
A counterweight or ground rod helps to tune the antenna but is not always necessary.
IMPORTANT: Maximum power is indicated in PEP and is for amateur radio use in intermittent mode (CW or SSB) only.
Not suitable for AM broadcasting or constant carrier data modes (such as FT8 or RTTY) at high power (100W). For these modes, reduce power considerably (50W max recommended) to avoid overheating and damage to the balun. For full-power use in constant-carrier modes, opt for a QRO balun.
