The CHA Pocket OFCD is a 40m - 6m (7 to 54 MHz) multi-band HF antenna, WINDOM type, asymmetric dipole OCF (off-center-fed) and can fit in a pocket when not in use.

This antenna is designed for ultra-light (less than 200g) and low power (QRP) portable use, for the 40m to 6m bands, with tuner. The antenna can be used without tuner on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.

Recommended for use with lightweight, battery operated, portable HF transceivers from Icom (IC-705), Yaesu (FT-817/818), Elecraft, Xiegu (G90, X5105, X6100) and other QRP transceivers for Parks On The Air (POTA), Summits On The Air (SOTA), NVIS, and emergency communication.

An OCF antenna is different from a standard dipole antenna in that the feed point is not in the centre of the half-wave antenna, but offset so that approximately 1/3 of the antenna is on one side of the feed point and 2/3 on the other. This results in an efficient multiband antenna, a broadband antenna tuner is required on some bands.

Supplied with: 1x 40m copper plated KEVLAR Pocket wire and 1x reel.
