The GX-16 microphone connector is common in amateur radio, with different brands using different pins. The cable in this listing uses the following pinout:
- pin 6 - PTT
- pin 7 - GND
- pin 8 - MIC
You can confirm compatibility by checking continuity between pin 7 and the radio chassis.
Some of the mobile transceivers listed do not offer a front panel headphone connection.
The cable in this list will need to be supplemented with an extension cable of appropriate length to reach the jack on the rear panel.
