Digirig is an integrated open-source digital interface for amateur radio, developed by Denis from K0TX.

Designed to simplify connections between radios on the one hand, and computers, tablets or smartphones on the other.

The interface combines a USB hub, an audio codec and a CAT (Computer Aided Transceiver) interface in a compact package.

This all-in-one solution is designed to reduce cable clutter and improve the experience of radio operators, both in fixed stations and in mobile or portable environments.

9600 baud Audio/PTT cable for Yaesu (except FT-891 which has its own digirig interface), ICOM, Kenwood and other radios with MiniDin6 connector.

  • The data cable supports digital modes and packet radio protocols such as FT8, FT4, SSTV, APRS, Winlink, VaraFM, Allstar etc.
  • the data cable combines audio and PTT control and is plugged into the Digirig's audio socket
  • the cable can be used alone or with the CAT serial control cable with transceivers supporting this function
  • the spiral cable keeps things tidy, avoiding knots and kinks
  • approx. 60cm slack, 183cm fully extended
  • shielded and RF insulated with ferrites at both ends to prevent radio frequency interference (RFI)
  • top quality materials and craftsmanship

This cable is compatible with Digirig Mobile 1.6+ in all configurations as well as other Digirig models.

When used with Digirig Mobile, plug the 3.5mm TRRS jack into the black socket labelled "audio".
