The mAT-M200 is an automatic antenna tuner, external and compatible with ICOM brand HF transceivers that supports the original AH-3 or AH-4 Icom tuner and Kenwood HF sets supporting the AT-250 or AT-300, with RF power not exceeding 200W in SSB mode.

Compatible Kenwood HF sets with 6-pin tuner connector: TRC-80, TK-80, TS-2000, TS-50, TS-450, TS-480 SAT, TS-570, TS-590, TS-850, TS-870, TS-890, TS-990

The transmitter powers the tuner via the mAT-CI (ICOM) or mAT-CK (Kenwood) cable, which communicates with the tuner and controls the operation of the tuner box. The tuner does not require an additional power supply. The tuner is compatible with ICOM and KENWOOD tuners, and users can easily control the tuner using the [TUNE] or [AT] buttons on the radio equipment panel.

For ICOM transceivers, this tuner will only work with transmitters that have a 4-pin tuner socket. If your transmitter does not have this socket, you will not be able to use it.

The same applies to KENWOOD transmitters, but their TUNER socket is 6-pin. When the tuner is switched on and started, it detects whether it is currently connected to an ICOM device or a KENWOOD device and matches it automatically.
