The Signalink USB radio interface from...
The Signalink USB radio interface from Tigertronics is a USB sound card that allows you to receive and transmit from a computer to practice digital modes such as SSTV, RTTY, Packet, PSK, ROS, FT8, FT4, JS8, etc. but also to use a radio in relay with ECHOLINK or Team Speak for example and according to the regulations in force in the country of use.
This card works like a sound card, only one USB cable is necessary between the interface and the computer to ensure the power supply of the box and to recover the RX and TX audio. 2 new USB devices will be added to the computer, one for the reception (RX), the other for the transmission (TX) of the audio.
The LEDs on the front panel allow to monitor the PTT control and the adjustment of the RX and TX audio input levels are done directly from the interface with front panel buttons.
All required drivers are provided directly by the supported operating system (Windows 7, 8, 10, MAC and Linux). Windows versions after WIN98 provide the driver directly from the operating system (no CD or download is required).
Delivered with : 1 Signalink interface, 1 USB 2.5m cable, 1 mono jack cable, 6 pre-cut and stripped 24 AWG wires, 1 Allen key - size 3/32", rubber feet, English manual. Without radio cable or jumper.
Please note: This interface does not allow the control of the frequency (CAT control) on the set used, it allows to switch to PTT and send a signal to the radio and receive it, thanks to the USB devices created.
Before ordering : Depending on the reference of the radio used, you need to add the compatible cable to be able to use the Signalink interface with the radio or find our "ready to use" packs, including the cable and the compatible jumper.

Built-in low-noise sound card - The Signalink card provides optimal performance and frees up your computer's existing sound card for other uses. It greatly simplifies installation and operation, reducing the number of cable connections, and providing consistent performance independent of the computer's sound card.
Simple Installation - The SignaLink USB requires only a single USB connection to the computer, and in most cases, a single connection to the radio, via a compatible cable depending on the model. No drivers to install, they are provided by the operating system (Windows, Mac Linux).
Front Panel Controls - Adjust TX audio, RX audio and transmit delay without opening the case.
Supports all digital and voice sound card modes - The SignaLink USB supports ALL digital and voice modes. This includes ALL traditional modes such as CW, RTTY, Packet, AMTOR, and SSTV and ALL new modes such as ROS, FT8, FT4, JS8, etc.
Complete RF Isolation - The SignaLink box completely isolates the computer from the radio through the use of audio transformers and a relay PTT switching circuit. This eliminates annoying ground loops and eliminates the problem of "hum" and noise that can degrade signals.
Transmit Audio / "Side Tone" Output - A "Monitor" jack on the rear panel can be used with headphones or powered speakers to monitor and listen to the transmission.
External Speaker Mount - If your installation requires you to attach the SignaLink to your radio's external speaker jack, then you can plug an external speaker or headset into the SignaLink's rear panel "Aux" jack and still hear your RX Audio.
The SignaLink USB supports virtually ALL digital modes that are available for sound card interfaces including but not limited to, PSK31, MT-63, WSJT/WSJT-X modes (FT8, JT4, JT9, JT65, QRA64, ISCAT, MSK144, WSPR, JTMS, FSK441, FSK315, ISCAT, and JT6M.), SSTV, APRS ®, Packet (300 and 1200 baud), VARA HF, VARA Narrow, and VARA Wide.
The SignaLink USB also supports virtually ALL Voice modes (VOIP, RoIP, etc.), such as EchoLink®, and Zello.
About the only modes that you can't operate with the SignaLink USB, or any other sound card interface, are Pactor, G-TOR and Clover.
