This 16-element omnidirectional discone antenna measures 1m20 and attaches to any mast (not supplied) from 25 to 50mm in diameter, using the two V-bolts supplied. This robustly built antenna has been rated to withstand wind speeds of up to 180km/h.

J\'ai donc décidé de franchir le pas et de prendre une Discone de marque AOR , la fameuse DA3200 . Et franchement, je ne m\'attendais pas du tout, à une t’elle différence de réceptions entre les deux antennes, l\'antenne AOR la DA3200 ce débrouille mieux que la discone D-3000 N de chez Diamand qui reste déjà une très bonne antenne de réceptions. On vois tout de suite la différence entre les deux antennes sur les bande Air et WFM , ( pas encore tester plus hauts pour l’instant ). C’est également au montage que l\'on voit tout de suite la différence entre les deux antennes, les radiants de l\'antenne AOR sont tous taillés à des mesures différentes avec deux grands radiant de 1,20 m de long. C\'est une véritable antenne dédiée à la réception qui je le rappelle, n\'est pas du tout conçu pour l\'émission , même à de faibles puissance , contrairement à la Diamond qui peut servir en émission à très faible puissance . On dirait que l\'antenne AOR a été spécifiquement taillé pour avoir un gain très stable partout et très précise pour la réceptions. Pour ma part, j\'ai toujours apprécié le principe de séparer les éléments réception émission et d\'utiliser des antennes différentes, et surtout tailler pour un usage précis. Dans le cas de SWL une antenne dédier pour l’émission n’avais pas de sens. La qualité de fabrication de l\'antenne A0R est la même que la Diamond et provient du Japon.
